Varuna and 5G EIC jointly develop 5G technologies for drones

Panunya Chareonsawadpong (second right), Co-Founder Commercial of Varuna (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading smart technology solution provider, and Chenkan (second left), Senior Marketing Manager of Thailand 5G Ecosystem Innovation Center (5G EIC), have discussed the potential of the 5G wireless technology, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Drones, and Varuna’s technology for agriculture and environment. The discussion was recently held at the 5G EIC.

The 5G EIC is currently featuring an exhibition showcasing products and smart solutions for agriculture in the 5G Smart Agriculture zone of 5G EIC. These technologies include the intelligent agri-drone "Chao AiANG" and the Varuna Analytics platform, which analyzes agriculture using analytical data from a satellite to produce accurate farmland analysis. Additionally, Varuna offers the Varuna Land Monitoring Service, which keeps track of changes in farmland, which is critical for plantation management. Additionally, the service can make recommendations on how to expand forest areas that can be converted into "carbon credits" in the future.
